Frequently Asked Questions

We’re an aggregator of as many camp options in the Triangle area as we could identify! Currently at almost 400, we allow parents to filter and search for appropriate camp options by age, category and geo. No other site allows for this!
While there are a few sites that list some Triangle camps, the lists were either specific location based (i.e. “Durham”), had only 30-40 options listed, or were including only camps that paid to be there. Our members will have access to every camp option we can identify (currently at about 400) as well as the ability to filter and search for appropriate ages, camp categories and/or geo-targets. Additionally, we found it was often times hard to locate basic information on the camp’s website … Is pre/post care offered? Pick up after 5p? Drop off before 8a? Financial Aid? Lunch? These are things busy parents need to know and the hunt for information wasn’t easy. Therefore, we’re working toward each camp having a standardized landing page for a quick snapshot of the basics they offer, and a link to their website for more information and registration.

Reviews can be so insightful! But let’s face it, a parent’s perspective will differ greatly from your child’s on each camp experience. Happy Campers Crew believes both are valid! We want to ensure its identified appropriately, so please note whether it’s a child or parent review.  Please know the camper reviews will be posted only through the parent account page, allowing for parental permission to do so.

We’re excited to create a Triangle camp going community! The plan is to create a newsletter that will profile some camps, some campers, some camp parents, and perhaps a review or two from our members. When you become a Happy Camper Crew member, we will add your email address to the distribution list.  Please contact us if you’d prefer to opt out of communication from Happy Campers Crew.

Happy Campers subscription is an automatic annual renewal from the anniversary date of when you joined.
